Panama Fishing Trips

We are offering to our clients the opportunity to fish the exciting waters of northern Panama using the Pacific port of Pedregal and the "Marina at Pedregal" as a base of operations.

Offshore & Inshore fishing

Located just five minutes from DAVID, Panama's second largest city, the Chiriqui River empties into a vast mangrove estuary that offers the light tackle and fly angler some fantastic inshore sport. Snook, snapper corvina, grouper, and more offer fast, tackle-busting action.

Anglers can venture offshore in search of huge marlin, both blue and black, Pacific sailfish, yellowfin tuna, mahi-mahi and wahoo. It is this species, the ultra fast wahoo, that is the premier target species during the months of August to the end of November when they are in great numbers and offer wild angling.

The picturesque island, rock outcroppings and reefs hold huge roosterfish, snapper and other fish that erupt in wild surface strikes from poppers and flies cast around their haunts. We are the only company offering this type of fishing in the area on a professional basis.

Lodging in Panama

Clients will be lodged at the Hotel Gran Nacional in David, just 5 minutes from the marina. This is one of the premier hotels in northern Panama. A new facility is in the planning stages for Parida Island, offshore of Pedragal. Updates on this project will be posted as it progresses.

Activities in David, Panama

David is a modern city offering a safe environment, exciting nightlife, interesting shops and many diversions to complete your vacation. Tours to beautiful mountain communities, volcanos and rain forest can be arranged. We can also take you on a tour of a working coffee plantation high in the mountains and you can take some of their wonderful coffee back home as gifts to family and friends. Visit a National Park devoted to the protection of nesting sea turtles, dive / snorkel in the clear waters and view the stunning colors of the reefs and its inhabitants. We'll arrange a diverse vacation for the non-angler as well as the fisherman who needs a break from the rigors of angling for big fish.
